Light the Fires of Beltane
An intimate seasonal gathering of ritual, firelight, flowers, music, and feast beneath the stars at Ajna Wellness Retreat.
Beltane is one of the most magical nights of the Wheel of the Year. Celebrated on May Eve, it marks the sacred turning into summer, when the earth is alive with fertility, beauty, passion, and creative life force.
Our ancestors honored this threshold by lighting great fires, dancing beneath the stars, adorning themselves with flowers, and celebrating the union of earth and sky that brings all life into bloom. It is a festival of joy, sensuality, vitality, and community… a time when the veil between the human world and the wild magic of nature feels especially thin.
We gather in circle to celebrate this ancient tradition in our own modern, mystical way.

A Night at The Witching Table
As the sun begins to set, guests arrive at Ajna Wellness Retreat and step into a world that feels a little removed from ordinary life.
Lanterns glow among the trees. Flowers and candles adorn the tables. Soft music drifts through the air as friends greet one another and new connections begin to form.
The evening begins with a relaxed community gathering hour, where guests sip handcrafted mocktails, mingle beneath the trees, and create flower crowns together. The men craft their own floral boutonnières to wear for the evening.
As night falls, we gather in sacred circle for ritual and meditation, moving together through moments of reflection, celebration, and joy.
Throughout the evening guests will experience:
• Sacred ceremony circle and Beltane ritual
• Guided meditation and immersive sound bath
• Flower crown making and floral adornment
• The joyful tradition of the Maypole dance
• Mesmerizing fire dancer performances
• A communal Beltane fire ritual
• A five-course gourmet vegetarian feast and fine wine shared together outdoors beneath the stars
Later in the evening we gather around a beautifully set table beneath the night sky, sharing a seasonal feast and celebrating the abundance of the earth together.
By the end of the night, strangers feel like friends, the circle feels like community, and the simple act of gathering becomes something truly magical.
What to Wear
Beltane is a celebration of beauty, nature, and the wild blossoming of life. Guests are invited to dress in a way that feels festive, magical, and inspired by the season.
Flowing dresses, flower prints, linen, lace, earthy tones, whites, golds, and soft pastels all feel perfectly at home beneath the Beltane sky.
During our opening gathering hour, guests will create flower crowns, and the men will craft their own floral boutonnières to wear for the evening.
Think garden party meets woodland ritual.
Most importantly, come dressed in something that makes you feel radiant, playful, and connected to the magic of spring.

Full Moon Imbolc Ceremony + Feast

Imbolc marks the sacred halfway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox—a quiet, powerful threshold where the earth begins to stir beneath the frost.
This is an ancient Celtic fire festival honoring the return of light, the first milk of the ewes, and the subtle rebirth that happens long before anything blooms above ground. Imbolc reminds us that new life begins in the dark.
Traditionally, this is a time of:
• candle lighting and hearth fires
• purification and clearing of winter’s heaviness
• blessing the home, the body, and the path ahead
• calling in inspiration, creativity, and devotion
Imbolc is associated with sacred flame, holy wells, and the feminine force of renewal where intuition sharpens, intentions root, and inner truth begins to rise.
We will gather in ceremony to honor this turning of the wheel with ritual, intention-setting, and a shared feast, tending the inner flame that will carry us into spring.

🌑 Winter Solstice Feast & Sacred Fire Ceremony 🌕
On this longest night, when the veil between worlds thins and time itself seems to pause,
we gather to honor the turning of the Wheel… the rebirth of the Sun.
The dark has reached its peak, and from this stillness, the light begins its slow return.
Yule invites us to journey inward,
to listen for the quiet whispers of spirit,
to dream the visions that wish to be born,
to plant luminous seeds for the year to come.
As our ancestors did, we come together to share warmth, nourishment, and magic.
By the light of flame and candle, we feast not only with our bodies but with our souls,
celebrating the sacred balance of shadow and illumination.

*Bring a wrapped object from your home that you are ready to release — a symbolic offering to the turning of the year and the Yule gift pile of transformation. But don’t stress, it can be anything at all!

7:30 — you are welcome to stay as long as you want as Kim Collins begins an open house for the community for her annual Christmas party after the feast! This party goes into the wee hours!
