Join me for 8 days and 7 nights in the beautiful jungle landscapes on the Caribbean Coast of Cahuita, Costa Rica. I am taking a very small group down (between 6-10) to the jungle for a life shifting experience as we sit with Grandmother Aya, Kambo and more in sacred ceremony.

Alexandra, Robert and I were trained in Pucallpa Peru by Peruvian Shipibo Maestro Francisco and his powerful daughter Maestra Tessy, both master healers of the Shipibo-Conibo Shamanic legacy. Our teachers have blessed us with passing the torch to share this medicine to the rest of the world as Western facilitators.

RETREAT LOCATION
Nestled deep in the lush jungles on the Caribbean Coast in the southern part of Costa Rica lies Puerto Viejo and Cahuita.
Cahuita is just north of Puerto Viejo, is not a touristy area and is untouched by large resorts and big hotels. It truly is a raw and largely unspoiled area that has one of the largest National Parks in the country.

Accommodations:
Welcome to paradise!
We will be staying on a private property with several bungalows, a pool, gardens... just a short walk to the beach and Cahuita National Park.
All the rooms have 1 double bed and private bathrooms attached. There is one room that can accommodate up to 4 people so please let me know if you would like a shared room if you plan to bring a friend or partner.
We will be settling into this beautiful sanctuary as our base home for the retreat. However, for ceremony days we will be staying overnight in the Maloca (a traditional covered round ceremonial structure) just up the beach at Inner Flight Healing Center. And believe it or not, you do not miss the sleep doing late ceremony. It's traditional to start in the late hours of the eve. And sleeping in the maloca is simply magical.
There at Inner Flight Healing Center we will eat all our meals together, prepared by a local indigenous chef.
We will have our integration days to relax back at our home camp to lazy by the pool, enjoy the beach, hike in the jungle, add on possibilities of horseback riding, kayaking, surfing, or simply reading in a hammock from one of the porches.

HOW TO REGISTER:
please see link to contact me through email. Include your name, city/state/country and in the subject line include LIGHT SEEKERS RETREAT. Feel free to ask questions too, but read over all the details on this page that may answer those questions.
1. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email within a day or two. This email will have instructions on payment options, health assessment forms and other important details.
2. Submit a $500 non-refundable advance deposit to save your spot. There are only up to 10 spots available so do not hesitate to reserve.
3. Once you have reserved your space and filled out the intake forms, I will follow up to confirm your registration and to schedule an intake call if needed. Or if necessary I will let you know if this retreat is not a good fit for you at this time, in which case I will refund your deposit.
4. The balance will need to be paid in full a month before the retreat by Jan. 16th. There are no refunds after this date.
If you would like to make payments you can split the balance into two payments with $1025 due by Dec. 16th and $1025 due by Jan 16th. We can also work out a spirit payment plan.
Itinerary (subject to change)
Sunday 2/16 - book your flight to San Jose International Airport (SJO) and stay overnight at hotel (I will give you the hotel information once registered)
Monday 2/17 - Shuttle pick up call 10 am (may be earlier if everyone is in San Jose on time). Arrive in Cahuita approximately 2 or 3 pm (depends on jungle traffic!). Settle into our stay and we will gather at Inner Flight maloca at 6pm for opening circle, cacao ceremony and dinner.
Tuesday 2/18 - 9 am Kambo ceremony.
Rest time. Afternoon private coaching sessions. Free time in the day to prepare our minds and body for ceremony.
Meet at maloca at 8 pm for movement, breathwork and meditation, rapè and mapacho cleansings.
10 pm quiet hour before ceremony starts at 11 pm.
Wednesday 2/19 - Integration day. Private coaching sessions. Free time to enjoy nature, the pool or the beach.
Thursday 2/20 - 9 am Kambo ceremony 2 and then rest and free time.
More integration coaching.
Creative clay class.
Meet at maloca at 8 pm for breathwork and quiet time before ceremony 2.
Friday 2/21 - Integration day. Afternoon Yoga class. Beach time and jungle hike at Cahuita National Park.
Options of add ons such as Channeling with Tara or energy work with Kim.
Saturday 2/22 - Free morning and afternoon. (optional excursions like: waterfall visit, horse back riding on beach or kayaking - TBD).
Meet at maloca at 8 pm for ceremony 3 preparation.
Sunday 2/23 - Integration day. Rest and free time.
Closing ceremony and dinner celebration.
Ecstatic Dance party!
Monday 2/24 - 8 am shuttle leaves for San Jose. Make sure to book late afternoon flight home (I suggest 4 pm or later). If this isn't an option for you to fly a later flight, you can stay an extra night in San Jose and fly out on 2/25.
Those who choose to stay in Cahuita or Puerto Viejo for extended integration stay, check out is at 11 am.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND YOUR STAY IN COSTA RICA, I CAN OFFER SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO BEST INTEGRATE IN THE AREA AND YOU CAN FIND AN AIRBNB TO STAY IN. I DO HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS IF IT IS AT ALL POSSIBLE. But please do not worry if you cannot stay longer. We will provide the integration support you need as you arrive home.

Safety Considerations, Contraindictions and important information:
Inner Flight Healing Center and Own Your Ohm Health prioritizes the safety and well-being of participants in all ceremonies. We will provide medical screenings to assess potential risks, including physical and psychological conditions.
Ayahuasca has benefits for psychological well-being, but can also be harmful to individuals with certain mental health conditions. Participants must be screened to avoid negative reactions.
They also follow a specific diet protocol that we will outline and avoid taking prescription or herbal supplements that could interact negatively with ayahuasca’s MAOIs.
We believe in the transformative power of Aya but also promote safety and responsibility.
Our main goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for participants to explore the healing potential of this plant medicine.
Psychological:
Although grandmother Aya is known for its beneficial psychological effects, it’s crucial to remember that people with certain psychological conditions, such as schizophrenia or psychosis, may experience negative effects.
Hence, those individuals should avoid this medicine. Additionally, those with a history of suicidal ideation or dis-associative episodes require extra caution.
Physical:
Individuals with serious high blood pressure, cardiac disease, or advanced liver disease should exercise caution before consuming the medicine. Ayahuasca has been shown to raise blood pressure and may cause complications for those with pre-existing serious heart conditions.
Mental Health History:
To ensure safe and effective treatment, it’s crucial to share with me complete and accurate information about any previous or existing mental health conditions, regardless of medication use..
Safety Considerations Regarding Kambo:
Providing a complete and transparent health history, including any supplements, drugs, plants, or substances consumed within two weeks of treatment, is essential.
To address any concerns about the treatment process, it is highly recommended to schedule a consultation.
People with any of the following are not recommended for treatment:
- Pregnancy or chance of being pregnant
- Drug consumption within two weeks before or after treatment (including MDMA, MDA, ecstasy, molly, heroin, ketamine, and party drugs)
- If you are menstruating at the time of treatment, Kambo may cause the flow to increase, while not dangerous it is something to be aware of.
- Breastfeeding women
- Chemotherapy or have had radiation treatments within six weeks before or after Kambo treatment.
- Patients recovering from surgery
- Seriously low or high blood pressure that requires medication
- If you have a chronic illness, please get in touch with us beforehand to plan out the best path for you. This medicine will likely greatly support you.
Contraindications for Kambo:
- Serious heart problems, heart disease, bypass, or enlarged heart
- Organ Transplant, stem cell
- Serious mental health imbalance – please discuss with us if you are in question
- Stroke
- Brain hemorrhage
- Aneurism or blood clots, or medication for varicose veins
- Addison’s Disease, kidney or liver disease
- Epilepsy
IMORTANT PICK-UP & DEPARTURE INFORMATION:
PICK UP:
To make sure that you can join us at the designated pick-up point on the first day of the retreat, we highly recommend booking your flight and arriving in San Jose, Costa Rica, at SJO Airport ONE DAY before the retreat start date. That means booking your flight to arrive in San Jose on February 16th. This will allow ample time for your flight in case of flight disruptions or delays and keep you from having to fly a super late/early red eye flight. I will send you the Hotel information that we will all stay together at in San Jose on January 16th so that you are able to ensure you make the pick up shuttle the next morning. You are welcome to stay at a hotel of your choosing, but I highly recommend staying in the hotel I will be suggesting upon registration.
If you arrive on the morning of the 17th and miss the shuttle you will need to make your own arrangements to get to Cahuita which is approxiately a 4-5 hour drive from San Jose. The Hotel stay on the 16th is not included in the retreat package.
DEPARTURE We will arrange for your transportation to San Jose, Costa Rica on February 24th. We suggest that you book your flight home for the day after the last day of the retreat on the 25th or make sure you choose a late departing flight from San Jose on the 24th. The shuttle will leave approximately 8 or 9 am on the 24th so if you pick a flight home on the 24th make sure it is a late afternoon or evening flight.
***I actually would recommend you extend your stay in Cahuita or Puerto Viejo for integration for a few days or longer AFTER the retreat if you are able. I can help you with planning this and give you ideas/suggestions once you register. I will personally be staying for an extra week after the retreat.
